Neena is the Director of Corporate Communications, PR and Events at Plus VC, a MENA-focused early stage venture capital firm investing in tech and tech-enabled startups. She is a qualified digital marketing professional and a seasoned PR and corporate communications practitioner with 20+ years of experience in the Middle East and North Africa.
Prior to joining +VC she was with 500 Startups, a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm. As the PR and Communications Manager, for the MENA region, she managed Media Relations for the 180+ startups under its portfolio.
She was also the Account Manager/Senior Consultant at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, a leading international Public Relations Agency prior to joining 500 Startups. Her client portfolio included leading international brands, quasi government, Banks, financial institutions and private sector organizations.
Recently she successfully completed the Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP) Certification from the Digital Marketing Institute, Ireland. She holds a MCom in Banking and Taxation from the University of Bangalore, Karnataka and has earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance Management.
