Hani Azzam

Hani is a Diaspora Venture Associate with +VC, connecting the fund with promising founders in the MENA region’s global diaspora.

Currently based out of Boston, MA, Hani has worked full-time for Capital One as a Product Manager since 2020, when they acquired the travel tech startup Freebird at which he was an early employee.

After completing his undergraduate degree from Tufts University in 2015, Hani worked in Palestine for a year and had the privilege of connecting with the Ramallah-based ecosystem of entrepreneurs, startups, investors, and enablers.

After moving back to Boston and joining Freebird, he remained connected with entrepreneurship in MENA through projects such as Habibi Worldwide and StartMENAUp. These only further convinced him of the still untapped potential in the region, its diaspora, and building stronger bridges between the two. Plus.VC is the next chapter in that story.
