Abdulhameed AlShakar is the Financial Accountant at +VC, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on tech start-up investments across the MENA region. With a diverse background spanning the Reinsurance, Academics, and Private Equity industries, AlShakar plays a key role in fostering growth and innovation within the financial landscape of emerging tech start-ups. His professional journey includes integral positions, with notable experience in delivering data-backed reports to global partners and top management as part of the Reinsurance team at GIG Gulf. He has also served as an Academic Trainee contributing to the University of Strathclyde’s initiatives at BIBF, and held a position as a Financial Business Support Intern at Investcorp.

Abdulhameed AlShakar is an alumnus of Bangor University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance.
